The pubic bone is a part of the pelvis. It is the continuation of the Ilium at the front side of your body. The pubic bone can be felt when you move your hands over your stomach downwards. The first bone that you encounter is the pubic bone.Women can easily feel the pubic bone under the skin (under the pubic hair). For man the pubic bone is directly above the penis, which makes it slightly more difficult to feel the bone under the skin. The pubic bone consists of a left and a right part, that are connected by the pubic symphysis.
